KIDS

Children are a priority at One World. There are so many needs. After a recent disaster we were able to help with medicines, food, water, and other needs partnering with foundations and local churches, but the task is daunting. There are orphan homes, inner city street children, and millions of refugees. There are poor country kids, abused kids and exploited kids. We  develop working relationships with organizations to alleviate these circumstances as they become practicable.

As we partner with more of these organizations, we will offer you ways to help with different programs involving children. We will periodically highlight different individuals and groups with whom we are working on social media.

What do all these folks have in common?  They are just kids. Those without resources, those without parents to care for them, those who have no one at all deserve as much chance as those born into better circumstances.

The kids above are in an orphan home in Myanmar. Because of you, we provided a 6-month supply of vitamins, iron and worm medications to this and 5 other homes in the area.

One World desires that no child go to bed hungry. We will work with those that deliver food to the hungry. In the meantime, we will try to supply vitamins to the needy. We will endeavor to deliver vitamins to every malnourished child in the world!  We will locate malnourished children in underserved areas to provide assistance. We now provide vitamins and other medicines to disadvantaged children's centers, orphan homes, HIV relief groups, inner city churches, and other venues in need. With your help we can provide our services to more kids on every continent.

The first photo shows church folks delivering vitamins to kids almost an hour walk away down a foot trail, and the second shows the children with their vitamins. The third is a photo from a day shelter for street children in a city. Some 5 year olds at this shelter have no place to sleep at night. Your contribution can buy vitamins and medicines for children like these. Two photos are from orphan homes in Myanmar. We have been known to clown around with them at times. We love to see children laughing!
